Wild Things set out to build the finest cold weather pants available. We chose BALLOON 70 denier ripstop shell fabric for its light weight, waterproofness and breathability. While the seams are not taped, the fabric provides best-in-class weather protection.

We added 4 oz of PrimaLoft's new Silver Active USA synthetic insulation. This new product from PrimaLoft is the warmest per ounce US made synthetic insulation. It is 30% warmer per ounce than previous generation synthetic insulation. This new insulation allows us to use an uncoated textile as the liner fabrics which enhances the moisture resistance. Also utilizes 330 denier Cordura® abrasion resistant panels at the knees, seat, and instep. Articulated knees aid in mobility.

    Fully insulated, wind/water resistant layers for extreme cold conditions provide ultimate warmth across a broad operating range thanks to Low Loft and High Loft options. Both feature PrimaLoft® Silver Active synthetic insulation to provide warmth even when wet. Shells are made of 100% windproof ripstop nylon with DWR/NIR designed for insulation protection, abrasion and water resistance.
